ORDERING PROCEDURE

Step 1 is to fill out all the required information on the High Ti Order Form. This includes:

Desired ride quality
Type of riding (long distance, commuting, cruising, touring, racing, triathalon, time trial, etc)
Current bike likes & dislikes
Past injuries or discomfort
Materials selection (Titanium, aluminum, steel)
Component selection and specification
Special graphics and engraving options
Body measurements so that we may size your bicycle properly

You will need to plan on spending some time speaking with High Ti designers to discuss in detail your desires for your new bicycle.

A drawing of your new bicycle, with component bill of materials and pricing will be created and presented to you for approval. At this point, you have the opportunity to make changes. After you have approved the design and specification, it will be sent to fabrication.

Timeline

Custom bicycles take time to design, specify, and manufacture. Each frame is an individual piece of machinery, tailored to the individual rider.

Phase 1: Design – drawings and specifications take approximately 5-10 business days. After you have approved the design, it is sent to fabrication.

Phase 2: Fabrication – welding, painting, laser etching, and final assembly can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks, based upon production schedules, backlogs, material availability, and shipping time. In other words, your frame may be ready in a week, or 4 weeks. We will be able to keep you up-to-date of the status of your frame throughout manufacturing, but until it is actually in the queue, we cannot give you a firm schedule.

Phase 3: Fine tuning – after you have logged 30 days on your bike, we can re-tune the shifting, brakes, and make sure you are comfortable on the bike. At this time, we can make any fine fit adjustments for you.

Loyalty Program

We hope you are happy enough with your new bicycle that you will tell your friends (actually, we want you to tell everyone you know). So, we have some incentives to keep you talking. Once you are entered into our records, we will update you with new product information, offer you preferred pricing on component upgrades, and give you nice spiffs for referrals. For each referral you will receive High Ti Nuggs, which can be applied towards components, jerseys, swag, or even another frameset. You can decide to hoard your Nuggs for a new frame, or spend them on neat things like shirts, bottle openers, or other kooky stuff we think up.
